The Call
I've been called to serve in the Idaho Nampa Mission & I enter the Missionary Training Center in Provo on February 5, 2014!
Progression
October 4, 2013: Opened my call
November 23, 2013: Took out my endowments in the Dallas Texas temple
December 30, 2013: Offically NINETEEN and eligible to serve!
January 26, 2014: Gave my farewell address today. It's getting REAL.
February 4, 2014: Tonight, I was set apart as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints!
February 5, 2014: Entered the MTC!
February 18, 2014: I'm in Nampa, Idaho! Let the missionary work begin!
Testimony
I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ and in His Atonement. I know Joseph Smith, all because of a simple question to define his religion, saw God, the Father, and His Son, and was given the keys to carry out the restoration of His gospel. I know the Book of Mormon isn't just a collaboration of stories: they're true. I know these things to be true because I have sought them out, and prayed to a loving Heavenly Father who then granted me the knowledge of their truthfulness by sending His Spirit to confirm them. I love this gospel so much and I'm grateful for a Savior who died for me, an imperfect daughter of God, so I may return to live with Him and be made perfect.
